The Elevated Sukkah in Lakewood New Jersey

This deck in Lakewood New Jersey was transformed into the Elevated Sukkah, a stylish, functional outdoor space perched on stilts and connected seamlessly to the home. Executive Pergolas installed an aluminum pergola with a retractable ShadeDeck® roof system that glides neatly under a protective pelmet when not in use, shielding it from the elements. The manual ScreenWalls® were added to enclose the pergola easily, creating a private, rain- and sun-protected area ready for Sukkos celebrations. Timber beams with pre-drilled grooves were provided, allowing the Sukkah to be assembled in minutes by slotting the beams into place and rolling out the Schach. After Sukkos, these beams are removed, restoring the pergola’s open-air, year-round outdoor living aesthetic. This project perfectly combines functionality, convenience, and elegance, making it ideal for entertaining, dining, or enjoying the outdoors in comfort throughout the year.
